Last Shrike of the year
In driving rain and wind that made it difficult for the shrike to stay on its post and with an overcast sky producing a permanent sensation of dusk I took my last photo of the Great Grey Shrike in 2012 at Wragg's Quarry this morning.
Unless the sky clears and the sun comes out this afternoon of course!
